Crafting Connections
Crafting Connections: a heritage for wellbeing toolkit. These activities have been developed for use with groups of older people over 55 but can be enjoyed by any adult.
This toolkit offers a step-by-step guide to running group activities with older adults. Drawing on resources from the Manchester Archives+ partnership, it demonstrates how engaging with the past can enhance wellbeing in the present. While these activities are tailored for people (55+), they’re perfect for anyone looking to connect and create in any community or healthcare setting, regardless of their level of historical knowledge. All activities can be carried out using everyday materials or readily available objects.
If you want to find out more about the toolkit, read the the project report and link to other resources around heritage & well being please click HERE.
