Manchester Histories and Museum Shop Sunday
Museum Shop Sunday is coming, and we are delighted to be taking part!
With Christmas on the way, we have plenty to offer for the history lover in your life, including a number of products that pay tribute to Peterloo.
Plus, between Sunday 27 November and Sunday 4 December, make any purchase in the Manchester Histories online shop and receive a free limited edition badge, made in collaboration with illustrator Emelia Hewitt and award-winning charity Venture Arts.
As part of this year’s Manchester Histories Festival, Emelia was commissioned to create illustrations for application onto badges that reflected the past and future of climate change, relating specifically to Manchester. Emelia produced a series of illustrations that encapsulated the theme of the festival perfectly. These badges are limited in number and are currently unavailable to purchase in the Manchester Histories Shop.
Museum Shop Sunday is an annual international campaign to highlight the vital role of retail in helping arts, cultural and heritage venues to survive and thrive.
