Peterloo

The Peterloo Learning Resources are a FREE package of History and Citizenship learning resources aimed at Key Stages 2 – 3.

The Learning Resources explore both the history and legacy of the Peterloo Massacre, 200 years on as both a major event in Manchester’s history and a defining moment for Britain’s democracy.

These include:

Learning Resources – FREE package of History and Citizenship learning resources aimed at Key Stages 2 – 3

Radical Read – a flexible reading and learning resource, that can be used in and out of the classroom

Animation – made by a group of young people from across Greater Manchester who are part of RECLAIM – a working-class, youth-led campaign organisation in collaboration with Triple Dot Makers as part of the Peterloo 2019 Learning Programme

The learning resources were supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic England and UK Parliament Education.
