A dramatico-sung performance of 33 moving and powerful tracks, showing human facets of The Manchester Massacre. CD written and presented by Charlotte Peters Rock.
Charlotte Peters Rock is a performer and author of poetry and song – particularly around the history of working people. “I write and perform what interests and aggravates. In the case of The Manchester Massacre, the interest is that these people were just like us, working hard, doing their best, yet starving; the aggravation is that having been through school, like so many people, I was taught nothing of this, or of so much of the history of ordinary people. In the country that claims ‘democracy’, I feel we have all been badly let down – and must set it right”.
