Common Ground explores the stories and significance of Greenham Common protest camps.

We are excited to be working in partnership with Scary Little Girls and Greenham Women Everywhere to bring three fantastic events to Manchester Histories Hub and the Performance Space in Manchester Central Library from Monday 7th – Tuesday 8th August 2023.  Join us as Common Ground explores the stories and significance of Greenham Common protest camps.

Common Ground is a series of events made possible thanks to support from the National Heritage Lottery Fund as part of a project to map the impact of the Greenham Common Peace Camp on the women who inhabited it and the communities they returned to. The project was created by Scary Little Girls in collaboration with Greenham Women Everywhere, a Community Interest Company run by and for Greenham Women which now has a vast archive of oral history interviews, photographs and ephemera from the peace camp.
