In this creative workshop, we’ll explore the metropoem — poetry written on the move — to capture the rhythm, stories, and spirit of the journey between these iconic cities.
Using movement, place, and observation as our guide, we’ll experiment with a poetic form that invites new ways of sensing and seeing everyday life.
No experience with poetry needed — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Led by Garance Marechal (University of Liverpool), this creative poetry journey draws on the micro-worlds of motion, place, and experience.
The workshop also includes an outward and return train journey from Edge Hill to Manchester.
