    Exhibition: Jill Woodward 1948-2023 -Feminist, Artist, Activist, Nurse, Mother and Grandmother

    Explore the work of Manchester resident Jill Woodward at the Manchester Histories Hub. Jill left an extensive collection of art, including cartoons, sketches, embroideries and placards, recording her involvement with local, national and international campaigns from a peace and feminist perspective.

    We are excited to be hosting Manchester City of Literature who have an exhibition available to celebrate International Mother Language Day, showcasing our international connection to the other UNESCO Cities of Literature, while exploring the links of Manchester's cotton-spinning heritage.
