2026 marks the 10th year of Manchester Histories Festival, and with a theme of Civic Pride.

Join us for the much-loved Celebration Day on Saturday 6th June 2026 by booking a stall at the Histories and Heritage Marketplace in the beautiful Rates Hall, adjacent to Manchester Central Library.

This vibrant day brings people, stories, and ideas together, shining a light on the inspiring work taking place across Greater Manchester and the North West.

It’s a chance to celebrate the organisations, groups, and creatives who play a vital role in telling local stories and connecting people through histories, heritage, and cultural activity. Whether you represent a long-running society, an established project, or something new and emerging, your work belongs here.

As we mark a decade of Manchester Histories Festival, we invite everyone to take part in this milestone moment – be part of a day rooted in connection, celebration, shared histories and pride in the places we call home.

The day will also feature activities for everyone, including behind-the-scenes tours, children’s craft activities, and special performances, making it a true celebration for all.

To register your interest in having a stall, please complete the form below. We’d love to celebrate this anniversary with you.

Deadline: Friday 17th April 2026.

Thank you for registering your interest in having a stall. Unfortunately, we have now exceeded the number of stalls we can fit in to Gorton Monastery. If you would still like to be involved in the festival please email charlie@manchesterhistories.co.uk
