A unique cultural event featuring new music, poetry, spoken word, and digital projection to mark the centenary of the Battle of Manchester Hill - a battle that in one day took the lives of 79 men from the Manchester Regiment.

Manchester Histories Festival 2018

From 7-11 June 2018, the Greater-Manchester wide biennial Manchester Histories Festival returns with the theme protest, democracy and freedom of speech, and an all new Festival format. 

With a festival hub at Manchester Central Library & a takeover at All Saints Park, Manchester Histories presents a long weekend of events celebrating and commemorating the rich and diverse histories of Greater Manchester.

And whether you're from an organisation, community group, or an individual, we want you to submit your event/s now to be part of Manchester Histories Festival 2018.
