Volunteering with Manchester Histories offers a unique opportunity to gain experience of working in events, to learn about the history of Greater Manchester, to learn new skills, have fun and meet other people in the process. If you have a passion for history or a keen interest in organising events or being involved in projects, we would welcome your support. We are looking for volunteers with experience in the following areas.
- Helping to research histories for our partners
- Event management and/or production
- Marketing and public relations
- Stewarding and welcome hosting at our events and festival
- Administration and office support
All our volunteers have to be over 18 years old, and following induction training, you will be asked to sign a Volunteer Agreement.
