Evaluation Framework

The Portico Library

Manchester Histories uses an evaluation framework that helps us to measure the impact of our work, as well as collect and analyse data.

We use the framework to better understand the people we work with, the projects we run and the audiences we engage with.

It helps us learn and responds to feedback so that we can improve the work we deliver and report back to our funders.

The evaluation framework was first developed by The Institute of Cultural Practices, University of Manchester.

It has been revised several times to continue to make it relevant to our year long programme of activity and Manchester Histories Festival.

Below you will find the different sections of the framework. The first step is to read this document, which explains what to do and when. Download the PDF document here.
