People’s History Museum is working towards a series of exhibitions, events and learning sessions exploring the theme of  disabled people’s rights and activism in 2022. Manchester Histories Festival 2020 will mark the start of this exciting programme of activity.

Manchester Histories is also collaborating with DaDaFest International Festival, which will begin in late November 2020. DadaFest is an innovative and cutting edge disability and d/Deaf arts organisation based in Liverpool. Working together we will promote both festivals across the North West and nationally.

We understand that not everyone will have access to digital technology to view the live broadcast, we will record both days and will show the content again in a public venue once safe to do so. At this moment in time we have plans to show the broadcast as part of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd of December 2020.
